Session Dynamics

What to expect...

It is impossible to put into words exactly what happens during the work. Each session is completely different and totally unique to the individual. I do use a massage table in my work, however I do not practice massage. The client is fully clothed at all times.

We may sit and talk for a little while and then eventually move to the table.

I work hands on the body and hands off the body. I follow where my hands are led while tracking the different elements in the body (earth, water, fire, air and ether) and/or the cranial- sacral rhythm. Quite often I get images, stories, names, or general sensations that I may dialogue with you about if it feels right.

I will hold the space for you to get resourced at all times, and help to facilitate a healing environment and experience.

Practical Information

IF YOU HAVE BOOKED OR ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKING A SESSION:

I encourage clients to have an intention for their session or to have a sense of what they would like to walk away with from a session (it can be anything -- even as simple as "to experience the work"). I have found that an intention provides a good starting point as well as a direction to work in.

In the past I have had clients show up 20 minutes before their appointment and I am still finishing up with another client. That does not work out so well so please be mindful to arrive right at your session time.

It is a good idea to bring water for after your session and try not to schedule anything too intense afterwards. It is best if you can just go home or to some other quiet and safe space to integrate and relax.

Please wear loose fitting clothes (you will be clothed at all times) and be prepared to take off any belts or watches.

The session runs anywhere from an hour to 90 minutes and the full rate is $150 USD. I accept cash, credit cards or bank cards.

IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL A SESSION PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE IS A 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. IF A SESSION IS CANCELLED WITH LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE PAYMENT IS STILL REQUIRED.

While I am currently based in Los Angeles I do often travel to see clients in New York, D.C., Colorado Springs, San Francisco, London, Bangkok, Oregon, New Hampshire, and Costa Rica.

I send out emails in advance of my travels to my client list in order to let them know where I will be and when.
